I read your article on "thesweetscience.com" titled "Boxing's Lifeblood." I totally agree with the statements that you make. I can remember as a kid in the 80's watching ABC's Wide World of Sports on Saturday afternoon with my dad to see the likes of Mike Tyson in a Heavyweight bout. It's amazing how much exposure one can get that way. As compared to being on the undercard of an overpriced PPV that few will buy. Especially when you are talking about a young fighter who just came off an Olympic performance who is known by the public. If a fighter can make a name for himself and build his star, they opportunities are then endless. Hopefully we will see more of this in the future.
